Narcotics Officers Seize $17,000 Worth of Synthetic Marijuana At Hotel Thursday

The Corpus Christi Police Narcotics and Vice Investigators seized 427 bags of synthetic cannabinoid packaged for street-level sales from a hotel room Thursday morning.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for Room 226 at the Red Roof Inn at 6805 South Padre Island Drive after an investigation started the previous evening into drug dealing going on from that hotel room.
Upon service of the search warrant, the following subjects were arrested:

Trevino, Robert (4-11-94), outstanding Refugio County SO warrant for Possession of Dangerous Drugs, 1F enhanced Man/Del of Controlled Substance PG 2/2A >=400g, Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2A, Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

Gonzalez, Carlo Alfonso (3-26-96), 1F enhanced Man/Del of Controlled Substance PG 2/2A >=400g, Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2A, Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

Gomez, Domynick Gary-Anthony (3-5-84), 1F enhanced Man/Del of Controlled Substance PG 2/2A >=400g, Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2A, Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

Investigators seized 427 bags of synthetic cannabinoid packaged for street-level sales, totaling an approximate net weight of 4.27 kilograms.  There was also 3.1 grams of marijuana seized in the room.  Investigators seized over $4550.00 in US Currency as well as a Subaru Forester.  The estimated value of the drugs seized was over $17,000.00 dollars.

Police Serve Search Warrant on Caravelle Parkway

Corpus Christi Police arrested 26-year-old Darious Decuire (7/7/1989) Tuesday afternoon for Possession of a Controlled Substance at his apartment located at 3802 Caravelle Parkway.

The Corpus Christi Police Department Narcotics and Vice Investigation Division served a search warrant at 3802 Caravelle Tuesday afternoon at 3:34 pm.  Police arrested Derious Decuire (7-7-89).  Police seized approximately 3.5 pounds of marijuana, 39.73 grams of alprazolam, 14.11 grams of ecstasy pills, and 11.67 grams of cocaine.  There was also $222 in US currency and four cell phones that were taken as evidence.

Officers delivered Decuire to the city detention center for possession of a controlled substance in three different penalty groups and possession of marijuana. All four accusations are felony criminal charges.

Police Arrest Man For Criminally Negligent Homicide

The U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Fugitives and Violent Offenders Task Force arrested 22-year-old Alex Rodriguez (7/15/1993) Monday afternoon on the 1400 block of Devon Drive for a warrant generated by the Corpus Christi Police.

Corpus Christi Police Detectives investigated the death of a four-month old child on the 2600 block of Presa on September 8 2015 in which the child was left unattended in a blue 2006 Ford Fusion during the day. The Nueces County District Attorney’s Office presented the case to a grand jury and returned with an indictment. The indictment resulted in an arrest warrant for Rodriguez for Criminally Negligent Homicide and the Marshal’s Task Force arrested Rodriguez on March 21, 2016 at an apartment on Devon Drive. Rodriguez was delivered to the city detention center until he is moved to the Nueces County Jail. Rodriguez was held on a $25,000 dollar bond.

Corpus Christi Police arrested two people and seized evidence and currency from a house on the 1900 block of Brennan Street Friday morning.

The Corpus Christi Police Department Narcotics and Vice Investigation Division executed a search warrant at 1902 Brennan at about 8:30am on February 26, 2016. Investigators seized 4.5 ounces of powder cocaine, 1.5 ounces of crack cocaine, 2 grams of methamphetamine, and approximately $7400 in US currency.

Investigators arrested 32-year-old Rickey Reyes Flores (2/15/1984) and 29-year-old Veronica Ybarra (8/7/1986) for Manufacturing/ Delivery of Control Substance, a first degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Warrant Served On Southside Apartment

The Corpus Christi Police Department Narcotics & Vice Investigations Division, assisted by the SWAT team, served a search and arrest warrant earlier today at the Gaslight Apartments located at 4625 Kostoryz Road .

This warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation into drug dealing by one of the residents in that apartment.

Officers seized  5 grams of powdered cocaine, over 4 grams of marijuana, two scales, and $598 in cash from inside the apartment.

The man named in the arrest warrant, Roberto Jesus Flores (02/07/1989), was arrested and charged with first degree felony manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Police Seize Drugs and Weapons on Teak Street

August 1, 2014, at 6:25am, the Corpus Christi Police Narcotics Investigators with the assistance of the SWAT team executed a search warrant at 4401 Teak.  The search resulted in the seizure if 30 weapons of various caliber firearms, 19 grams of crack cocaine, 5 grams of powder cocaine, and a vehicle.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 26-year-old Robert Garza (10/1/1987) and 25-year-old Mallaurie Lopez (6/8/1989). Both were charged with Man/Del C.S. PG-1 (2F) and processed at the city detention center.  Investigators are in the process of collaborating with ATF on further charges for the weapons.

The operation is the conclusion of an investigation brought about from citizen complaints in the area.

 

Police Execute Search Warrant on Sabinas Street

On July 11, 2014 at abut 5:33 p.m., The Corpus Christi Police Narcotics/Vice Investigations Division, with the assistance of the Corpus Christi Police Gang Unit, executed a search warrant at 2833 Sabinas. The investigation centered on Henry Velasquez 07/08/85. Velasquez was present with Pedro Cibrian 09/30/87, Johnny Siller 03/30/78, Ralph Villela 09/03/89, Irene Ingram 03/15/84 and two children when the search warrant was executed. As officers entered the house all of the above mentioned subjects were detained without incident.
While searching the residence officers located a large amount of crack which had just been cooked up. The search netted a seizure of 7.57oz of crack valued at approximately $6,750, $2,668 in currency, a scale, several cell phones and five vehicles.
All of the above mentioned subjects were arrested and charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Substance and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
The children were released to their grandmother.
