Possession of Child Pornography 13609 Mountain Trail 1204240066
On 4/26/12, Detectives with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force culminated an investigation into the possession of child pornography with the arrest of Vaughn Warner 12/29/94.
Detectives were able to proactively determine that Warner was in possession of child pornography. A search warrant was served at Warner’s home and he was subsequently arrested for Possession of Child Pornography. Warner was booked into the Nueces County Jail and has since been released on a $15,000 bond.
The Corpus Christi Police Department and the United States Marshals Service would like help from the public for additional information to locate Ubaldo Ramirez (9/18/1981). Ramirez’s last known address is in Corpus Christi.
Ramirez is wanted for non-violent offenses, but the public should not attempt to apprehend Ramirez. Occurred on 3/6/12, 12:47 p.m. Display of Harmful Material to a Minor & Online Solicitation of a Minor 1203060062
On March 9, 2012, Detectives with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Matthew Christian Owens (07/06/75) for Display of Harmful Material to a Minor and Online Solicitation of a Minor.
Detectives were able to obtain the arrest warrants after Owens had conversed online with what he believed to be a 12-year-old girl. Owens, using a webcam sent explicit video of himself to the young girl, and he then made arrangements to meet the underage girl for sex in Corpus Christi .
Owens was arrested when he arrived to meet her. Owens is currently in the Nueces County Jail on bonds totaling $100,000.
10.27.2011/8:30 a.m. Online Solicitation of a Minor 2630 Waldron Road 1110260084
Detectives with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force culminated an investigation on 10/27/11 with the arrest of Joshua Goldsworthy (9/13/92) for online solicitation of a minor and displaying harmful material to a child.
Detectives initially received a complaint from the parents of a 15-year-old after their child was solicited online. Goldsworthy sent the 15-year-old an explicit photograph, and then arranged to meet the minor for sex. When Goldsworthy arrived for the meeting, he was arrested by CCPD Detectives and Special Agents with the Department of Homeland Security (ICE).

Corpus Christi Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Detectives and Special Agents with the Department of
Homeland Security culminated an investigation with the arrest of Jose Rene Alaniz (10.22.68).
Alaniz had been conversing via internet with what he believed to be an underage female, and attempted to facilitate the female taking explicit pictures of herself for him.
Alaniz was charged with Attempted Production of Child Pornography and is in federal custody.
