Investigators with the Auto Theft Task Force are looking to identify the two subjects that stole an individual’s truck, and also used the same individuals Credit Card at a local gaming store.

The incident occurred on August 21st , when the two subjects seen in the video stole a vehicle, which was later recovered stripped. However, it appears they located the victims’ credit card, in the vehicle, and went on a shopping spree where they were caught on video. The first suspect is a Hispanic male, wearing a red shirt and jeans. The second suspect is wearing a white cap,  a dark-colored striped shirt and jeans.

Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine

Sometime between the late night hours of September 11th & the early morning hours of September the 12th, three unknown individuals, driving a blue 4 door sedan, drove into the Progressive Car wash at 6821 Everhart with the sole intention of breaking into the vacuum machines.

The Corpus Christi Police Dept. needs help in identifying the three individuals seen in the videos;

The first subject is white female wearing a black top, jeans and white tennis shoes.

The second subject is a male wearing a Green T-Shirt, khaki shorts and white tennis shoes.

The third subject is male wearing all dark clothing.

Major Accident/Fatality 10430 Haven

 On 9/13/2011 at 8:03 a.m., police received a call for a major accident involving a fatality in the 10400 Blk. of Haven (near Tuloso Midway H.S.). When Officers arrived, they learned a female driving eastbound on Haven lost control of her 2002 Green Chevy Trailblazer; drove left of center into the westbound lane of Haven and left the roadway.

 Upon doing so, she struck a fire hydrant. The vehicle continued eastbound on the sidewalk striking and killing a male pedestrian who was jogging. The vehicle then continued and struck a light post, where the vehicle then came to a stop.

 The driver of the Trailblazer was pinned inside of her vehicle due to the damage caused by the impact. She was transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

 At this time, investigators have not been able to confirm the identity of the male jogger.

 Fatality investigators continue to gather evidence in an attempt to recreate the accident scene.

3938 Surfside Homicide Investigation

Corpus Christi Homicide Detectives are investigating the City’s most recent murder investigation.  At 6:35 PM, Officers responded to 3938 Surfside for a “Nature Unknown” call. After Officers arrived, they discovered a 51-year-old female lying on the bathroom floor in a pool of blood, deceased. She had been discovered at the location by her boyfriend.

Homicide investigators were called to the scene and began a murder investigation.  Due to the nature of the ongoing investigation and the circumstances surrounding it, the Police Department is unable to release any further details about the investigations at this time.

When more details become available, they will be released by the CCPD Public Information Office.
