At approximately 5:44 PM Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Shoreline, reference a possible active shooter at a local hotel.
Corpus Christi Police Officers responded accordingly and meticulously with the details they were initially provided with.
The hotel was cleared by police personnel. We can confirm that there is no active threat and there are no injuries. We can also confirm that this call was determined to be a hoax, the source of the call is currently being investigated.
