CCPD is investigating 2 reported shooting incidents.

The Corpus Christi Police Department has been made aware of a social media post about vehicles being shot in the area of Flour Bluff Dr. and are actively investigating these incidents.

The first incident occurred on October 31 and was reported at approximately 9:30 p.m. Officers investigated and discovered that a vehicle had been shot. The victim had stated that a vehicle passed him in the area of 2600 Flour Bluff Dr. and he heard a gunshot. The victim told officers that his vehicle was struck by a bullet. No one was injured and spent casings were found at the scene.

The second incident occurred on November 1 at approximately 8:00 p.m. officers responded to 10300 SPID in reference to a possible shooting. Officers arrived and contacted the victim. He advised that he was driving in the area of 1300 Glenoak turning onto 2600 Flour Bluff Dr. when he heard his right rear window shatter. No one was injured and officers searched the area but were unable to locate anything. The victim called and advised officers that he was cleaning his vehicle and located a ball bearing type projectile.
