We wanted to provide an update on the two Corpus Christi Police Officers who were injured last night. The officers sustained serious injuries that were treated at a local hospital and both officers were discharged early this morning, they are now recovering at their respective residences.
We want to thank the Corpus Christi Fire Department for their emergency medical response and professionalism on scene. We also want to thank the hospital staff for their expert care and treatment of our officers.
Out of respect for the officers’ privacy, no further update on their conditions is expected to be released.
Lastly, we want to thank our community for their concern and well wishes.
