An argument leads to a deadly shooting

On May 29, 2020 at approximately 9:44 A.M. Corpus Christi Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 800 Bloomington St. in reference to a shooting victim. Upon arrival officers observed the 21 year old male victim on the ground with a possible gunshot wound to his lower torso. Medics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition.

Officers at the scene were told that the victim went outside and got into a argument. A short while later a shot was fired stiking the victim. The suspect, (described as a hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds and having a distinct scar across the bridge of his nose), fled the scene westbound from 800 Bloomington.

Detectives were later informed that the 21 year old victim passed away from his injuries. At this time police do not have a suspect in custody.
