A Corpus Christi Police Officer was patrolling in the area of Ennis Joslin and SPID. The officer observed a blue Dodge Avenger parked by the air pump at the Valero in the 7800 block of SPID. The officer recognized it to be a recently stolen vehicle. The driver of the vehicle matched a description put out yesterday by the owner. The vehicle left the location, the officer followed the vehicle and confirmed that it was still stolen. The officer continued following the vehicle until backup arrived. The vehicle was stopped at 6800 Aswan Dr. and the driver taken into custody. Officers arrested Alpha Dale Crocker (06-04-1992) who was also found to have an active warrant out of Nueces County. He was transported to the City Detention Center.

Corpus Christi Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 8100 SPID in reference to a assault. Upon arrival officers made contact with a 24 year old female victim who was visibly upset. She advised that her boyfriend assaulted her while she was driving her vehicle. She stated that they were driving and arguing about money. She stated that the suspect began throwing small items at her while he sat in the back seat. The victim yelled at the suspect to stop throwing the items and that is when he punched her in the left side of the face. The victim stopped at a convenience store and the suspect got out and walked away. Officers observed redness and swelling to the left side of her face. Officers followed the victim to her residence in the 8300 block of Moffett Cir. to make sure the suspect was not there. The officers checked the residence and found the suspect was not there.
At approximately 2:18 AM October 9, 2017 the victim called the police again and advised that the suspect entered through a broken window at the residence and assaulted her. Officers contacted the victim at a convenience store near her residence. She was crying and advised that the suspect made entry into the residence through a broken window and punched her in the back of the head while she was lying in bed. She immediately left the residence and called police. The officers followed the victim back to the residence at 8300 Moffett Cir. The victim tried to enter the residence but found that the door was dead bolted from the inside. Officers checked the area and found the suspect walking away from the back door. Officers contacted and arrested Anthony Quintanilla (12-05-1988) and transported him to the City Detention Center.
