Offense: Murder, Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon

Ben Villegas (03/29/85), Abraham Cardenas (02/18/64), and Crystal Juarez (10/15/93) have been arrested on charges related to the September 03, 2017 Murder of 28-year-old Juan Montoya.
During their investigation, Detectives developed information leading to the arrests of Villegas, Cardenas and Juarez. All three are being held on two separate warrants; Murder with a $1,000,000 bond and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon with an $800,000 bond. Villegas and Cardenas were arrested on September 08, 2017 and booked in at the City Detention Center. Juarez was booked in at the Nueces County Jail on September 12, 2017.
The investigation is still ongoing and the case will be referred to the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office when concluded.
