A 26 year old man called Corpus Christi Police after his ex-girlfriend showed up at his home located in the 460 block of Archer Street intoxicated.

Officers arrived and were told that the man was at home when his ex-girlfriend came by his house.  He walked outside to talk to her and he noticed that the female had their baby in the car with her.  The man thought the female was too intoxicated to be driving around with his child in the car so he jumped in front of the car so the female couldn’t leave.

She attempted to drive around the man and drove into some trash cans that were in the street. While the man was attempting to get the child out of the car, the female punched him in the face and scratched his neck.  The female, Sabrina Zapata (03/02/1983), was arrested for assault and the child was released to the man.
