Officers contacted the Family Dollar Store cashier who reported a Black male entered the store and loitered in the store keeping a close eye on her.  The male left, but returned shortly thereafter, waiting for an opportunity to rob the victim.  When the cashier opened the cash register, the suspect elbowed her out-of-the-way and took an undetermined amount of money.  The store manager pursued after the suspect, but lost sight of him as he fled northbound towards the H.E.B.   The suspect is described as a hazel-eyed Black male, 5’8” to 5’10” feet tall and weighing 180 to 200 lbs.  He was last seen wearing a “golf” hat, light blue shirt, and blue jean shorts.  Anyone having any information regarding this crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS or the Corpus Christi Police Department Homicide/Robbery Bureau at 361-886-2841.
